Deionized water is pure from heavy metals and inorganic ions that interfere with analytical procedures employing atomic absorption photometry, chromatography, tissue culturing, etc. Lab grade pure DI water is useful in many industrial processes.
Application
Water (deionized) may be used for the following studies:
• Rinsing of slides.
• For the elimination of surfactant and excess silver ions during the preparation of silver nanoparticles.
• Preparation of powdered milk formula samples for the quantification of fluoride.
