The E.S.R. system consists of a holder and a set of pipettes with a polyethylene filter. Pipettes may be filled using an automatic suction pump, a pippetting bulb or pump, or a hand hold pippeter . The holder accommodates up to 10 pipettes. Plastic pipettes are graduated up to 180 mm. Tubes are filled with sterile citrate. The use of the ESR System eliminates splashing, spraying and aerosol hazards, making it an optimum choice for ESR testing in the laboratory.
