As a nontoxic disinfector, it is used in hygiene and disease control, medical treatment, aquiculture and plant protection etc., for example, antisepsis for drinking wate r, industrial water, dishware, swimming pool, poultry, fish feeding, environment and infectious diseases and its prevention. In addition, it is used to bleach cloth, kill alga and for wool shrinkage proof agent.
As a disinfectant. SDIC can be used in swimming pools, drinking water treatment, agriculture, tableware, hospital and other public places.
Industry Bleaching Agent and Cleaning Agent. SDIC is suitable for bleaching textiles and cleaning industrial circulating water, and also to prevent wool from shrinking, etc.
Argriculture. Used as disinfectant for raising silkworm, livestock, poultry and fish.
Desease Prevention. Routine disinfection for fighting against infectious diseases, preventive disinfection and environmental sterilization in different places.
Isopropyl alcohol, particularly in solutions between 60% and 90% alcohol with 10 – 40% purified water, is rapidly antimicrobial against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Once alcohol concentrations drop below 50%, usefulness for disinfection drops sharply. Notably, higher concentrations of alcohol don’t generate more desirable bactericidal, virucidal, or fungicidal properties.
